It is my immense pleasure to be leading the teaching and learning community of Tahatai Coast School.Our location, close to the beautiful Papamoa Beach, which often reflects the excitement and challenges of nature, is also reflected in the exciting and challenging learning environment, and the innovative curriculum delivery that we offer.We strive to mould innovative and creative thinkers and learners, who will be able to face the challenges of the 21st century.This is the underlying kaupapa of our mission statement,
“Learning today for tomorrow’s world.”
Whilst our school environment is a little ‘out of sync’, with a major repair and rebuild project, which has been in progress for several years, we continue to provide a quality education for our students, and look forward to the day when we will have a ‘new’ school once again.I invite you to explore our learning community, which celebrates and recognises the students, staff and parents/caregivers.These make us what we are.
