Partnerships with our Community

We are delighted to tell you that we continue to have a strong partnership with  the staff and students of Mount Maunganui College.

Two of our ex students, Andrew Robinson and Megan Burton Brown, currently holding leadership roles at Mount Maunganui College, will facilitate a leadership course for our Year 8 ambassadors. This will take place on Monday 21 March.

Following this day, they will then continue to mentor our students throughout the year.

It is really exciting to know that these two ex students will be contributing to the education and leadership skills of our current student leaders, and at the same time, giving something back to the school in which they completed their primary education.

We are also developing a working relationship with the Mt College Yr 9 HODs and our year 7/8 teachers, to ensure we are totally preparing our students for college entry.

There will be continued support from Mount Maunganui College, through the GATE (Gifted and Talented) programme, for our senior students, and we will again look forward to seeing the Roadshow Performance and the Smokefree Stage Challenge entry.
