International Programme

“A world of opportunities at TCS”

Tahatai Coast School warmly welcomes international students of all nationalities.

We embrace the diversity that international families bring to our school and feel our community is enriched through their enrolment.

We value the understanding our community gains, through interaction with the various cultures and languages that international families provide.

International students are placed in a mainstream classroom and are withdrawn for small group English language lessons. Frequency is dependent on the needs of each student.

We have a well established international programme and guarantee only 1 nationality of international student per class. This assists in accelerated understanding and use of the English language.

What we offer:

  • Quality education in a Kiwi classroom environment
  • Small group English Language lessons
  • Well established international programme including orientation and buddy system
  • Experienced International Student Manager, employed full-time to support students & families
  • Excellent facilities on-site, including large grass playing fields
  • Opportunity to bring your own device to school
